About Us
Sandridge Evangelical Christian Ministries founded June 16, 2005 in Richland City, Indiana, is an
independent ministry ordained and authorized by Saint Luke Evangelical Christin Ministries in
Hephzibah Georgia. St Luke's ministry is the ministry of the Reverend Dr. David M. Ford founded in
1997. He is the author and creator of the First International Church of the Web. His web address in
www.ficotw.com I suggest you visit for its great wealth of information.
Sandridge Ministries I hope and pray will give you the insight and the knowledge of who Jesus was
and what he means in all our lives. His ministry was to save those who were considered lost more
than the ones who were believers in God.
The reason for the name of this ministry is personal. There is a farm not far from here that I have grew
up on and around most of my life. The house I lived in was on the northeast corner of Indiana Highways
66 and 161. This now overgrown pasture is where I would like to one day plant my physical church
building upon. Around this intersection is about 20 - 25 homes. that make up the community of
Sandridge started almost 100 years ago. No matter where I have traveled in this great country I
always come back to this intersection to go home. So that is the reason for the name.

My Name is Reverend David Wayne Embry. I was ordained as a minister on September 17, 2004 by the
Reverend Dr. David M. Ford of St. Luke's Evangelical Christian Ministries in Hephzibah Georgia. While I have
always had a strong belief that God exists and that Jesus Christ was His Son and died for our sins, I lacked the
commitment to the word of God and did not follow the Word. After a heart scare I decided that My life needed to
change. As I was laying in the hospital while they were running tests I prayed to God for forgiveness of my sins
and to help me recover from what was wrong. The next day they told me I had congestive heart failure but
fortunately they had caught it before it got worse and they told me that with medication and a change in lifestyle
I could prolong my life. I later thanked God for the good news and offered my life to him to do with as he
pleased. A feeling later came over me and revealed to me I should follow the life of my Grandfather and
great-grandfather who were both ministers. I took this to heart and decided to pursue my options. Since I was
unemployed I didn't have the money to go to seminary school and I looked on the web and found the First
International Church of the Web and how I could be ordained through St. Luke's Evangelical Christian Ministries
for free. I decided to apply for ordination and was ordained by Rev. Ford. While many say that this kind of
ordination is not real I usually reply and asked them what seminary did the prophets of the Bible go to? What
seminary did Jesus Christ attend? I am going at my ministry the way of many ministers before, with faith in GOD
and a belief that JESUS CHRIST died for my sins. With the inspiration of the Lord and his guidance I believe
that I can do the job I have been asked to do. I can always learn and always will anytime and feel that the Lord
is okay with this.
Currently I am serving as a Certified Lay Speaker for the United Methodist Church, Indiana Conference. I am based out of
